You are welcome here.

Lutheran Campus Ministry is a place for all students regardless of religious affiliation. Though it says “Lutheran” in our name, you don’t have to be a Lutheran – or even know anything about church – to get involved. If you are a UW-Madison, Edgewood College, or any other post-secondary student this place is for you.

About Us

Responding to God’s call, Lutheran Campus Ministry creates an affirming community that provides students with opportunities to deepen faith, engage minds, and serve neighbors.

Lutheran Campus Ministry is centered in Jesus Christ’s embodiment of the love and grace of God. In that spirit, we welcome all UW-Madison, Madison College, and Edgewood students, faculty, and staff to be a part of this community of faith, worship, service, and fellowship.

Taste of Grace Lunch

At Lutheran Campus Ministry, we believe that God meets us through community, and that community begins when we sit down and share a meal together. This meal is a way for you to experience God’s presence through the friendship you find in one another.

What is grace, anyway?

Lutherans believe that everything that God gives us – life itself, forgiveness of sins, friends and neighbors – is a gift that we cannot earn. This gift is called “grace” and we want you to experience it, which is why we call this lunch a “Taste of Grace.”

As I reflect on my time in Lutheran Campus Ministry, I am most thankful to God for the people that God brought into my life.

From Rev. Tom Dowling, Pastor at Williams Bay Lutheran Church

It is my hope that I can help to create and shape Christian communities that are as vibrant and active as what I experienced at LCM!

– Ryan Panzer, LCM Alum, MDiv Student in Theology through Luther Seminary
