Student Ministry Internship

Student Ministry Internships at Lutheran Campus Ministry are service-learning positions in which students:
- Commit to regularly participating in Lutheran Campus Ministry’s weekly activities and helping other students feel welcome and more connected to our community.
- Provide leadership in our campus ministry community.
- Join a small group of fellow student leaders who meet regularly to explore and grow in faith and vocation.
Program Details
The Student Ministry Intern program is a year-long commitment of approximately 10 hours per week throughout the academic year. Interns must commit to:
- Spend about 3 hours per week in a specific area of responsibility (such as hospitality, worship, small groups, communications, etc.).
- Attend the regular Thursday night worship and dinner starting at 5:30 pm, missing no more than 2 weeks per semester.
- Work at the LCM front desk 4 hours per week.
- Participate in a 2-hour cohort meeting twice a month during the academic year, time to TBD in consultation with the Pastor and Leader Cohort (currently every other Tuesday from 7 pm – 9 pm).
- Student Ministry Interns receive a monthly stipend of $400 from September to May (9 months).
