The Keep Food Pantry: Providing nutritious choices to eliminate food insecurity in our campus communities.
By providing nutritious food choices we minimize the challenges our guests may experience and allow them to focus their energies on their academic and career pursuits. The Keep Food Pantry is a ministry of Luther Memorial Church.
The Keep Food Pantry serves students, staff, and faculty of University of Wisconsin-Madison, Edgewood College, and Madison College.
Hours of Operation
The Keep Food Pantry is open Thursdays 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm. In 2022, The Keep Food Pantry will be closed Nov 24. For questions on hours of operation please email The Keep Food Pantry.
Frequency of Visits
You are invited to return to the food pantry once per week.
Luther Memorial Church
1021 University Avenue
Enter through the courtyard door on University Avenue (behind the large Luther Memorial sign). After entering the building, follow the signs and take the elevator or the stairwell ahead of you down two flights of stairs to the basement level.
To be eligible, you must be associated with one of the three academic institutions. The first time you visit and at every return visit we will request to see your academic identification.
We receive most of our food from donations and from Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin. You may make monetary donations to support our work by going to www.luthermem.org/giving
Please donate non-perishable items at Luther Memorial Church (1021 University Avenue).
- Single-serving shelf stable microwave meals such as Uncle Ben’s Ready Rice
- Shelf stable jars of salsa
- Savory snacks such as nuts, pretzels, and crackers
- Oatmeal in single serving packets
